A Family Affair and a love affair with Costa Rica starting over 25 years ago.
Costa Rica is our second home, but it is first in our hearts. Ever since our very first trip in 1992, we have returned again and again to vacation, live, work and enjoy Costa Rica and all that it has to offer. It has truly impacted every aspect of our lives and changed each and every one of us. It has allowed us to raise both our daughters to be fluent in Spanish and understand a world outside the United States.
Over the years we have opened up businesses, lived in different areas and visited every corner of the country. We enjoy having family and friends visit us and we love to show them the off the beaten path destinations as well as the more famous tourists spots. Every one of them has something to offer and appreciate.
One of the places we visited early on was Playa Tamarindo. At first this beach was definitely off the beaten path, mostly a destination for surfers and backpackers. That all started to really change in the early 2000's when the roads and infrastructure began to improve and they opened up the new International Airport in Liberia.
We decided that it was a great place to start a new venture with the dry climate and mild rainy season. Eventually, it became our main home in Costa Rica. We stayed in many different places in and around town, but it was not until about 5 years ago, when we found our own place and home in Tamarindo. This past year we decided to offer it to others, outside our friends and family to enjoy. You shouldn't keep paradise to yourself. We hope you'll join us!
